lisa, i'm so very sorry you're going thru this mental anguish. please please please don't let them do anything until there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever about the pg.

have they re-done your beta at all to see what's going on there?

when i had my early u/s with my ds i was given a conflict in gestational size vs what i was certain was my O date. i was scared b/c the u/s dated me a week smaller than i should've been. it all turned out fine. i think the fact that there was growth in the last week is a good sign.

i'm saying my prayers for you that this all turns out well. thank you so much for the update and please keep us posted.

Hi Lisa: I just read your update.... I agree with Dina 100%! Please wait a little while longer... things may turn out ok, esp. since there was that discrepancy with the written report. I've seen many many instances at FT where things seemed shaky, only to resolve in a ++ way with the next ultrasound. Heartbeats are not seen sometimes until 7w and so if you're not there yet, it's not surprising that you didn't see the heartbeat yet.

I agree also that they should be continuing the betas now to make sure that they are still going up at a comfortable rate.

Oh, Lisa! I'm sending lots of +++++++++++s your way! Please come back soon and let us know how you're doing!

{{{HUGS}}}++++++++++++
Maura

I will be praying for you and the baby. It is all in God's hands and I hope that He can bring you some kind of comfort during this especially hard time. As if ttc isn't bad enough then, you have to go through this. You know doctors have been wrong before and I hope this is the case. I personally would wait it out if you can because like I said, it's all in HIS hands and he will do what is best for you if you just trust HIM. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for everything to turn out ok and I will be watching closely for an update from you. {{{HUGS}}}

Lisa,

Just a word of encouragment. With my first born the Doc I was seeing told me I had miscarried just because she thought I had concieved earlier then I had. I went through three weeks of terrible mourning before I started getting really sick. I went to a new Doc who confirmed my perfectly healthy pregnancy. So just remember, Doctors are human and they make mistakes!!!
