Bad News

I took an hpt this morning (first response) and received another-. I am 12dpiui and am scheduled to go into the Dr. tomorrow am for my blood draw. I honestly don't know if it is even worth it!! I cried for 1/2 an hour this morning, just being sick of the dissapointment each time. We have been trying for over 3 years now, and it never seems to get easier.

I honestly thougth that I had a chance this time around. My temps have remained high (other than Saturday) and I still have not gotten my period. So it was hard to see that - this am.

Any thoughts??

i'm so sorry for the disappointment...many of us here truly understand your pain.

i would still like to keep you just a little hopeful tho. 12 DPIUI is still early. implantation can take up to 12 days in which case you wouldn't have been able to pick up any hcg yet. i tested at 1 day late for AF (15 dpo) with my dd and got a blatant neg. not even a hint of a line. i tested 5 days later and got an immediate ++. as long as AF hasn't showed yet, you still have hope.

i had also about lost all hope when i hit the 3 year mark while TTC my ds. i had stopped taking hpt's about 7-8 mos earlier b/c i couldn't stand the disappontment anymore. i felt it was (somewhat) less painful to just have AF show up than to see that horrible neg hpt staring back at me...KWIM?

i know it's such a heart wrenching battle, but it will happen for you. don't lose hope.

I feel for you too... but Dina is right... it really is too soon to give up hope! I would wait another 2 days before testing again to give your body more time to do what it's doing... and I hope that what it's doing is building up HcG.

Good luck and keep us posted+++++++

I agree with the experts. I had a negative aroudn 14dpo and a ++ two days later. Hang in there. If AF is not here it is not over!

I am sorry about the - hpt but as long as AF is not in sight I would still have hope. I would wait another 2 days and test again. Sometimes the hcg is not high enough for the hpt to pick it up.

Praying for a +++++++++outcome.
Good luck!!!
