Need Advise

I had an iui done on 2/5, so I am 11dpiui. Since I o my temps have remained high, other than the 97.5 on Saturday the 12th and then it rose back up again the following day to 98.3. I usually get my period within one week of the iui. I still have not gotten it, my temp has been 98.2-98.6, and I am getting - hpts.....any thoughts??

Hi: The fact that you haven't gotten your period is a great sign. At 11 dpiui, you are still early in the process. Implantation takes place between 6-12 dpo, so you are still in the implantation window right now. And after implantation, it can take a bit for enough HcG to build up to detectable levels. Plus, up to 10% of pg women don't get a ++HPT even when testing at the time AF is due.

If you can, try holding out for another 2 days before you test again. Then if HPTs are still negative, ask your doctor for a beta. Some women -- for whatever reason -- don't get ++HPTs at all!

I hope you find out what's going on soon... and I hope it's a ++!

GOod luck and keep us posted+++++++
