HPT Results

Okay, I took another hpt this morning. It has been neg. for 2 days now, and I got a VERY faint + this morning (so faint that I was not sure if I was seeing things). I don't know what to make of this.

I am 9dpiui as of today, my temp has been between 98.2 and 98.6 since the iui. My temp dropped on Saturday to 97.5 and went back up yesterday to 98.3. Any thoughts on these??

Did you take an HCG trigger?
Is the line the same color as the test line or is it white, gray or bubbly looking?
It could be an evaporated line indicating the test is invalid.
It could also be that you've recently inplanted and it's picking up a slight rise in your HCG levels! (if you didn't trigger).

Still, I think it may be too early to tell for sure. You should wait a few days, maybe 12 dpiui+ and re-test.

Wishing you the biggest BFP!!

I did trigger 10 days ago. I started to take the hpt's 6 days past the trigger until I saw a - (whcih was on Friday and I have been using ept). So I have been getting - results for 3 days now (I thought that all the HCG was out of my system) and this morning I saw a +. The line is a light blue and showed up within the 3 minutes. It was very faint, but you could still see it. I am scheduled to go into the Dr. on Friday morning, but want to know for peace of mind before going to the Dr.

Wow, that sounds very promising! The trigger can show up still 10 days (and even 12 days) post trigger, but since you've been getting negative HPTs, it seems logical that the HcG from the shot should be out of your system by now! Have you been testing with the same brand each time for consistency?

If I were you, I would test one more time, with ClearBlue Easy or e.p.t. (if you haven't already, just because those are reliable tests -- in my view!) and see how you do... that way you will have that much more peace of mind before going to see the doctor on Friday!

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted... so excited for you!

I have been testing with ept's right along here. I figured I would stop tonight and grab another box of 3. I hope that it works!! Again, it was pretty faint, so it could be nothing too. I will let you know for sure! When do you go?
