jessica, i found this thru a search. i'm assuming you may have had a problem in the past? if so, i can only imagine that a chemical pg would'nt warrant any treatmemt as it's not a viable pg.
It is particularly important for expectant mothers to know their blood's Rh factor. Occasionally, a baby will inherit an Rh positive blood type from its father while the mother has an Rh negative blood type. The baby's life could be in great danger if the mother's Rh negative blood attacks the baby's Rh positive blood. If this happens, an exchange transfusion may save the baby's life. The baby's blood can be exchanged for new blood that matches the mother's. i hth....

Hi Jessica I am also rh factor. I always have a shot of Rho gram after every surgery. I did with all my Laps and after my D&C's. I also got the shot once again when I was pg. If you are still not sure ask your doc.

Hi, I'm so sorry if you've just had a loss
. {{{HUGS}}}I would definitely call your doctor. The quick search I did suggests that some doctors do recommend that women get a shot after early m/cs (didn't say exactly how early though). Here are some links: http://folsomobgyn.com/rh_testing_and_rhogam.htm http://www.parkhurstexchange.com/qa/.../1998-09-14.qa All the best++++++++ Maura |
