Progesterone Gel?

I was told to take Crinine 8%(progesterone gel) after my first IUI. What exactly is this for?

Hi Yaelie24, Crinone vaginal gel is a form of natural progesterone taken vaginally. Some women use Crinone as a supplement during TTC cycles and into early pregnancy. When I was in TTC my RE had me on it but she felt like it wasn't doing it's job because most of it was on pantyliner. It was just too messy for me.
