my (frustrating) update...
Hi ladies....I decided not to chart this cycle as I am moving on to IUI and was tired of judging how my day would be based on my thermometer. Anyway, the last three cycles I o'd on cd28 so this cycle I figured it would be about the same. However, based on cm and ovulation pains alone I don't think I o'd until about cd 33. It is now cd47 and no AF! I took an hpt yesterday (FRED) and it was a BFN. However, this past Thursday and Friday I had brown spotting. This was only when I wiped and not even enough to stain the pantyliner I wore thinking AF was coming. I called the RE's office today and am having b/w tomorrow to see if we can determine what's going on. I was just wondering if any of you experienced women had any thoughts on this?
Thanks, Lisa

hi lisa....i think the best thing youcan dois get your b/w done. that was a good move. i think it would be wonderful if your spotting turned out to be implantation spotting
hpt's don't always pick up hcg early on. if it was in fact implanttion spotting then it makes sense that you would get a neg hpt on sat....kiwm? i don't mean to give you false hope, but you should always have some hope. where there's no AF there's hope!!! good luck with your b/w tomorrow and keep us posted!

Hi Lisa! Dina is right... where there's no AF there's hope. If you ovulated later than usual this month, you could have tested too early with your HPT... bloodwork should help in figuring out what's going on!
Fingers crossed for you... please let us know as soon as you can !GOOD LUCK! ++++++++++++++++ Maura |

Hi Lisa I have to agree with Maura and Dina. No AF so there is still hope. Maybe you tested too early and not enough hcg for the hpt to pick up. Hopefully the b/w will give you some answers.
Still thinking ++++++++thoughts. Good luck!!

Thank you ladies so much
You don't know how much I appreciate your input and great advice.Well, I had my b/w done and got the call about an hour ago. I have a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in shock and can't believe it. I took an hpt on Saturday (as I mentioned) and it was negative. My beta today was 61 which I think is low but if the hpt was negative then I am guessing it got where it is between Saturday and today - so - that's good, right? My progesterone was 25.19 and they said anything over 15 was good...so that's good right???! I am soooo nervous. I o'd late and implanted late and just hope this works out. I have never gotten pg on my own!!! I have another beta scheduled for Wednesday. Wish me luck :
