Question Consistantly high BBT after IUI?

Hi there,

I'm new to the BBT board. Wondering if someone could shed some light.

I had my IUI and ov'd on cd 18 & 19.
Ever since then my BBT has been consistantly high (for the past 7 days so far). Today I'm on cd24 and have had a white discharge for two days. Because I'm on the 2ww, I'm going nuts with curiousity (5dpiui).

Any clues as to if I should have my hopes up, or is this normal or something else?

Fetch, I think it is a great sign that your temps are remaing high, Do you always chart and have something to compare it to?
I hope your white cm is a good sign too, I am also in my 2ww and also have that today!
Good Luck! Jewels

HI FETCH...

do you chart on a regular basis? if so do you mean that your temps are running higher than usual? if you want to post them we'd be glad to take a look at them.

a temp that stays up is definitely what you want after O. that said, it's kind of hard to know much of anything so early on in the 2ww. i know it's so painful and torturous. but you should have nothing but hope right now.

try not to drive yourself too crazy. post your temps if you'd like, and i'll come back and check.

+++ wishes

Darn.
My BBT went down this morning. I read that if it stays high for 18 consistant days, it could be a sign of pg.
Mine dropped significantly. It was btwn 36.5 & 36.7 for at least 5 to 6 days. Now it's 36.3. My coverline average 36.3.
I'm testing in Celsius, so I'm not sure who can help.

I have been BBT'ing for several months, but because my cycles were all over the board, it's hard to follow a pattern. With this cycle I had forced ov with HCG trigger. I assume w/ my dropped temps that it's a sign of BFN? right?

So despressed.

hi fetch...please try not to be too discouraged yet. although you've had a drop, that doesn't mean your temp won't go back up tomorrow. the month i conceived my ds i had about 3 significant dips after O. it wasn't until about 13-14dpo that my temp was finally staying up without any further dips. i continued to temp for an addtiional 4 days (until i took a HPT), so i wouldn't have really guessed (by all the dips) that pg had occurred.

don't give it up yet!!!

Hi Fetch and welcome to this BB. I have to agree with DinaK on the drop in temp. I wouldn't worry too much especially since you are only 5dpiui. It is too early to give up hon'. Hang in there ok.

+++++++++++++++thoughts.
Good luck
