New Cycle (1st IUI)

Hello everyone. This past month has been a rest cycle for me because of large cyst and too high estradiol. I spotted from cd 11 until yesterday, cd20 when AF came. And she is a doozy today compared to my normal light flow. RE said the spotting this cycle was normal because of meds last cycle and cyst. I was lucky rest cycle was only 20 days and now I can move on to my first IUI!!!! I never wanted it to get to this, but now I find myself very excited and convincing myself that this is my month. My large cyst on left ovary was gone. Thank God. I had 3 small cysts on right ovary, but tech said nothing to delay this cycle. Yay!!! Still waiting for Baseline blood call, but I'm convinced everything will be fine. My clomid has been upped to 150 since only one follicle last time. I'll start taking that on Sun, and go back for sono and more BW on CD9 (next Fri) My DH SA came back as well this week. 90 million!!!!! Very excited. They said motility was slightly lower than they like, but nothing they're concerned about.....I'm feeling very positive. I'll keep everyone updated. I'm going to look on the IUI board for a cycle buddy, but if anyone is looking for a buddy here, let me know. Good luck to everyone else this cycle!!

Bam, Thanks for the positive thoughts! How are things with your cycle going?
This was my second IUI. I was fortunate enough to be successful 6 years ago on my second attempt (dd). So I am hoping that the second will be the magic number again. We have also been blessed with a son (adopted) who is now 8. I am 35 and dh is 37, and dh thinks we are "getting too old", so he only agreed to 3 IUI cycles. However 2 weeks ago he was asked to relocate to Aruba. The island only has one hospital with 4 ob/gyns, so I had to BEG for him to agree to this try. (he really doesn't want me to delivery there) So if this one is not BFP, it will probably be the end of this IF journey!

Suzy, I have my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully #2 is your lucky number like last time! When is you 2ww over? Do you have beta scheduled?

My cycle is going fine. I started the clomid last night. I was a little concerned on how I was going to react since they upped the dose to 150. So far not many side affects. A little light headed here and there, but nothing to write home about. I'm just a little nervous because the icky winter stomach virus is running rampant around my in-laws and dh was working closely with his dad this past weekend. I'm so nervous I'll get it and it will interfere with my cycle. I get it every year. But I'm staying positive. I go on Friday to count follies and more BW.

The doc said that I could come in on the 16th for a blood test, but I'm contemplating a HPT on the 14th. My cycles are usually between 26 and 29 days so if it is neg. I will probably start by the 16th (it will cycle day 29).
Today is the first day it is hard. I'm having those "close to crying" moments quite often. I'm not on any meds, so I can't even blame it on them.
I'm only seeing an OB/GYN Fertility Specialist (the same one that was successful for dd).
Here's hoping you can stay well and your follies respond beautifully! Grow follies, grow!
Suzy
PS Keep me updated!

I will keep you updated, and you keep me updated as well. As for your crying moments......Hang in there. This IF emotional rollercoaster can sometimes be crazy and you're entitled to mood swings. Even without meds. LOL
