Opk ?
I'm hoping for opinions here...I found my surge line Friday a.m. and b/c of unavoidable scheduling conflicts, was unable to have IUI done this weekend (was hoping for bms instead). That said, my DH felt the pressure and bms didn't happen. I tested again last night just for the heck of it and still found that I'm surging!! So, my question is...is tonight too late for bms? I really only thought I'd find the surge line Friday morning and maybe Saturday morning and very surprised I'd still have the second line (just as strong) last night. I'll test again (sigh) a little later, but wanted input from the experts here. Thanks!!!

Tea: It may not be too late, so get busy immediately if you can!
Once you detect a surge, you will probably ovulate within 12-48 hours.. and then the egg can stick around post-O for up to 12-24 hours.... so, you could be ovulating right now ... or you could still be within the post-O egg viability time frame .I hope things work out and you can BMS today !Good luck and keep us posted ++++++++++Maura p.s. You don't necessarily go by the ++OPK because the OPK can remain ++ for a while after your surge. Some women continue to get ++ after the initial surge. So, even if your OPK is no longer ++, it doesn't mean it's too late; it just means your LH level has dropped and is no longer detectable. But you could still be fertile, as described above .

Thank you sooooo much!!! Your response made my day, I really thought it was too late (although you'd think by now, I'd be a pro at this stuff...LOL)
