I am new to this site and would like to say its great to be able to talk to other people who are experiencing the same problems. I have a few questions to ask anyone who is has any information to help. I was put on Clomid 50mg this month for ovulation dysfunction problem. I was instructed to take them on day 5 - 9. Did that. Right now it is day 13 and still no O and definetly no cm. I have been using my opk and no signs of O surge coming yet. Is it possible that the clomid is messing with my cycle in anyway? Need help with these questions.
Thanks again to anyone who has time to contact me with some badly needed answers. (side note, my husband and I have been ttc for 5 years now. I've been tested for everything and told that I might just only ovulate every other month. My husband has been tested and told his count is great, but his motility isn't that great. anything he can take ? ) Thanks, Hilary

Welcome to the bb and FT, Hilary
! Glad you found us ! Don't give up hope for this month! Many women find that Clomid delays O and end up O'ing around cd 19-20 (if not later) on Clomid (not sure why). So, keep BMSing and OPKing and don't stop with at least the BMSing until you are sure you've O'd because you don't want to miss it! Not sure about how to improve motility. There is a male factor bb here which you might want to post your question on, if you haven't already. Also, there's an alternative tx bb where you might find some help. Are you taking your basal temp? If not, you might want to consider it for the future because it can give you lots of information about ovulation and other aspects of your cycle. I hope you don't need it (because this month will work ), but if you want more information, just let us know.Anyway, good luck with O and keep us posted! +++++++++++ Maura Last edited by mod-Maura; 01-29-2005 at 03:37 PM. |

Hi Hilary
In my experience, clomid delayed my O significantly (when I did O). I actually did ovulate every other month on clomid, which I found very interesting. I responded well on clomid at first, and no success this last time. Make sure you are drinking a ton of water, and wait it out to see.
Best of luck and keep us posted. Soccermom |
