progestrone supp

does anyone know if you will start af on prog supp. i am still taking them started up again after last post, but still no af. when i used to use prog lozg. i would always start af or have a neg beta and be told to stop them. but i am not seeing a dr now. i am afraid if i still use the prog supp i will never get af. alex.

Hi Alex

. By my calculations, you are at least 17 dpo today, right? Have you taken another HPT? If not, I would take another one tomorrow when you are 18 dpo. If it's negative, I would either get a beta (if your doctor will give you one ... just tell him/her that you ovulated at least 18 days ago and understand that HPTs don't work for everyone) or I would stop the prog. supps again and see if AF comes. If it doesn't come within a couple of days of stopping the progesterone, I would DEFINITELY get a beta at that point.

Many women who are not pg will get AF even when on prog. supps... it might delay AF a bit, but it doesn't usually prevent it from coming. You are already "delayed"! The fact that AF hasn't come is potentially a great sign

alex, i have to agree with all that maura said. prog will not dleay af indefinitely. i hope you get a BFP!!!!
