) Good thing we just got our snowblower back ... it was broken through the past 3 storms and when we took it in, the guy said that a mouse had made a nest in it (no, no mice were inhabiting the machine when it was last used

)!

just checked in on the weather website....looks like total accumulation between TWENTY AND THIRTY INCHES!!!

i'm just glad it's happening on a weekend when DH is home to get his butt out there and shovel!

Sarah,
I am about 20 miles southeast of Boston and we are getting hard as I type this...I am also glad it's coming on a weekend, my company doesn't close (I'm an EMT...24/7/365) so I would have to be working in this...UGH!!! So glad I have weekends off!! We have made every arrangement possible in case we lose power and such...hope you and DH are warm and safe throughout this storm!!

Hi Tea! Another MA girl here! I grew up 6 miles south of Boston, lived just west of Boston for a while and now live 8 miles north.... now if I just could live on one of the islands, I'd have all of the directions covered

ok, well i'm not a new englander, but i'm on the south shore of LI and we're getting pummelled with snow!!!!! dh went out and bought a snowblower this morning. yep, you heard it right...only my dh (ok, and my sis's) wait until the morning of the blizzard to go shopping for snowblowers. because we haven't known for a week this was coming right?

i hate snow! i'm sick of it and want to live somewhere where's there's palm trees and lots of warmth!

could someone please give me directions to boston??? I NEED some of that snow!!!!! I am in Tennessee (furthest most northeastern tip) and am just getting the crappo tail end of yall's blizzard and I'm so jealous!! Well, except for the shoveling part LOL! It's starting to finally snow rite now and I'm hoping that it continues. I want to rack up BIG TIME!

Sarah: Just get on the highway and drive NORTH! I'll gladly share my snow with you! Just looked out the front door and saw some neighbors sledding down our street (we live on a hill). It looks deep out there (dh had to shovel a path so our dog could "use the facilities"

well you can stop and pick up some of my snow on the way! feel free to take as much as you'd like.

well i haven't seen anyone sledding yet, but i gotta tell you we have a few maniacs in the neighborhood that take out their snow mobiles and it pisses me off to no end! they go tear a$$ing down the streets and around corners with no regard for the fact that children are out everywhere playing in the snow!

we put our puppy (well, she's 2 1/2) out to pee, and i had to push the door thru a snow drift to even get it open! and then she was running around in part of our yard that had the snow blown away and was fine....then she gained some speed and went into deeper terrain, and was stopped dead in her tracks by snow up to her neck! she was loving it.
