All you need is a broadband connection and a web browser. You have to view a short ad before you make your call. The audio is played through the browser and the site uses your pc's mic to transmit what you say. Unregistered users can make calls up to 2 minutes, registered users, which is free, gives you unlimited calls of up to 15 minutes. Best of all, it works here and all over the world. It's not going to replace your phone, but it's enough for some short calls and every little bit helps these days.
