Just got back!

Total Bill -171.38
Savings & Coupons - 103.44
Spent 67.94
Saved 60%

BUT, in reality they had to pay me 38.34 to leave the store, because I took our change jar in & used the Coinstar machine. I had 106.28 in change So, thanks to the Grocery Game, I literally did do our Grocery shopping this week with our spare change!!

I haven't shopped yet. Our printer is out of ink! I hope to buy more tomorrow because I only have through Wednesday to shop. By the way, I forgot to buy a Sunday paper. After I went to bed, dh went out, after midnight, scouring the neighborhood until he found a gas station that had one left!!

I have the new issue of Money Magazine and one of their tips for saving money is...you guessed it...grocerygame.com!!!!

Great job Brooke!!

I took Erin last night and went shopping. I had a very small list and DH asked me how much I was going to spend. I said about 50

Shelf $103
spent $46
saved $58

55% savings.

I also earned $5 off your next order.

DH just shook his head when I brought home two more jars of salad dressing. I had enough coupons to buy 12 more but left them for others to use.

Great job Brooke

I'm basically lazy, that's why I joined. GG can do all the work! That's why I can't give you an exact amount saved and why I just have a plastic accordian file and I put each week's coupon inserts in a slot. I refuse to clip coupons ahead of time or do any calculations!

I finally shopped tonight. I spent $40.68 and according to the receipt I saved 40% not counting produce. So far, I'm spending under $50.00 a week, which is pretty amazing. I didn't need anything much this time and bought too many snacks and yogurts. I have 8 bottles of salad dressing lined up on the counter because there is no room for them anywhere else!

I'm still setting mine up. It just not fully working for me.

Here's the link to the binder someone else sat up.

I got you beat on the dressing and DH doesn't really know how much there is. I'm planning on using it to marinade meats.
I need to talk DH into putting some shelves in the landry room so I have more space to store great bargians.
