I just got the calculator yesterday so maybe you will still get it.

I got the calculator yesterday - but it isn't solar powered...it takes a battery. (I didn't have any either. ROFL!)

oh duh - I just checked it again - and it is solar. Boy oy boy! lol You can put a battery in it, too, though. lol

I guess when I tried it the first time, the light was shining on it enough to make it power on.
