I thought I would start a new post for this weeks savings.

I haven't gone yet but either tonight or tomorrow night after dinner.

According to the receipt I saved 40% but remember the receipt is always low at my store. Speaking of which, Lisa, the list came out on Saturday instead of Sunday! I bought an organic "can-a-dew" and three different employees couldn't figure out what it was (a melon) or what the price was, even though there was a sign right there. Hmpf! They were out of two things, but I didn't bother with the raincheck. I'll check the other store first.

Yes, mine was out around 2ish on Sat too, but some of the coupons were in Sundays paper so I still couldn't go shopping until Sun.
I'm taking the kids this morning to a non list store that has a couple great deals with the coupons. Its buy $20 of products and get a $5 off next order. As well, some granola bars are buy 4 get $4 off and I have coupons. It will make each box $1.
My goodness I love this game.

I seem to do really well at Walgreens, but Kroger (my list store) and I just don't seem to work well together!

Also, I noticed that many of my coupons from this past Sat. didn't match the coupons that the list had. They'd say it was $1 off and mine were only $.35 off.

I pick up two papers and sometimes there are differences in inserts by the same company.
In point, Ken's was on sale late week or the week before and the coupons in the inserts were get $1 off in one insert and the other was $.75 off.

Let's see...

I did my Food Lion shopping on Sunday. Not my fave store--but the only list groc in my area. I got 3 Colgate kids t-paste for .38/each. Great deals on kiddie yogurt, $5 off $10 meat. $5 off order. Free bananas. .95 Honeycomb cereal (working towards my post rebate!). Tons of other stuff. My total was $41.78 and my saving were $42.00. Loved it.

Last night I hit CVS. I can't believe I used to avoid this store. I totally recommend this list! I got 4/12 pack of Coke products for $9.00 (after ECBS) and 2 of them had peelie Qs for .50 0ff! . I bought my $30 worth of diapers (of course--not a stretch there--just the weekly pickup!) and got my free umbrella stroller (we don't have one--so this is great for dh to keep in his truck). The diapers were on sale and rang in at $6.99 w/Q. Got my free toothpaste, free Excedrin and BOGO cereal (works out to $1.10 a box w/Qs). I paid $37.00 and saved around $30. (reciept not in front of me). I consider that awesome because I could easily spend that on diapers!

So, so much fun! I am now working out my non-list store list (martin's). It includes almost free Dog Food and more cereal! LOL!

Ben and I went to the list store last night

Spent $95
Saved $76

Plus earned a $10 off school supplies, $1 of next order, $4 off next order and purchased enough items to get a $10 rebate.

While at GE, I told one of the employees about GG and she was impressed. I need to get some cards to hand out. I've earned enough credits now that I don't have to pay again until March. Yippe.

Does anyone have extra baby food coupons? Erin is just about ready to start her veggies and I only have a couple of coupons. Our local stores will not take home printed coupons so I need ones that have come from the company.
Thank You

Did anyone see Terri on the CBS Early Show yesterday morning? I just happened to catch it, didn't know it was going to be on. It was interesting. She's younger than I expected her to be (only 44), she used to be an actress and her hubby used to be a stunt man. They fell on hard times financially and she began clipping coupons to help make ends meet.
