Smile Post your Early Pregnancy Symptoms to help others xxx

Hello!

I'm new to this site so forgive me if I don't use the correct terminology or abbreviations -

My husband and I are trying for our first baby and this weekend while on a band camp with 80 pupils I had a sudden headache, sore throat, felt sick and almost fainted........... now I know there are tonnes of bugs going about and the sore throat isn't a preg symptom, but I just had this feeling. I almost fainted in the shower the next morning too.................

I've looked at lots of sites for preg symptoms..... LOVE obsessing about them, so thought I'd start a thread to see what people who are actually pregnant think and what their very first symptoms..... feelings are.

I am due to have my period in two weeks x

My feelings are:

Tired
feel dizzy and different
'think' I'm more affected by smells, but have an acute sense of smell anyway
dry skin
feel very hot ( pink face ) - It's freezing in Scotland just now
my feet and legs were very swollen after my bath last night
my lower back has been sore at night

I'm scared I'm imagining all these things could be preggo related.

Please post your early preg symptoms to help other nervous and excitable peeps like me xxx

I have no symptoms...the first pregnancy I had terrible pms like symptoms, but I was also five weeks pregnant at the time. With 2 weeks waiting....I have no symptoms as you have described. So you may be in luck. I took two tests and both were negative.

Bad cramps; like AF was going to start any minute. I was convinced that I was NOT pregnant (but I was and 9 months later, had a healthy baby girl). Had some breast tenderness, as well. Those were the only symptoms I had. Was very lucky to have had very minor morning sickness.

Hope that helps!

My pg symptoms:

Although it is not uncommon for my bbs to be sore right before AF arrives, they began feeling that way about a week early.
I felt sick to my stomach only one day (a week before AF was due)
I felt dizzy and a little extra tired, but the tired could be explained by holiday busyness
Tried to lose a little weight and nothing seemed to be triggering any loss, just felt hungry
Since the BFP, I have been tired more often, hungry more often and smells sometimes are overwhelming

congrats on your own bfp!

Hello, well I am not sure if I am too late to be of any help, but I will post my symptoms anyway just in case. About three days post transfer, I began getting alot of cramps..not terrible heavy cramps but the "your period is coming" cramps. Soon after that I began spotting dark brown blood. I was crampy and spotting until about 5 weeks. I had bouts of dizziness that truly made me think I was gonna pass out, but luckily I never did. Then at 6wks1day, I started puking. I was sooooooo nauseated. I could hardly even sit up. I felt like I had severe motion sickness right along with the worst possible hangover. It was awful. Finally at 12wks1day I woke up and it was totally gone..I simply felt better. After that I felt better than ever. I didnt have any increased urination, sore breasts, or anything like that in the beginning, though.

Hi Nikki, thanks for your post and CONGRATULATIONS on passing the 12 week hurdle!

I'm now at 7 weeks and feel extremely nauseous and exhausted! really aware of smells. Did you make it into work? I had sickness and the big D ( YUCK) for three days there and was dying in my bed, missed those 3 days of work... feel terrible about it!

I'm hoping so much I'm like you and the sickness stops at 12 weeks

Love and luck for the rest of your pregnancy

x

Praying that his time i'm preggo!

My AF is irregular. I was clinically diagnosed with pcos. I was taking BC and had AF on the 2 of January. About Jan. 18 I began to feel as if AF was coming again but nothing yet and it is January 31. So my symptoms are, tightness in lower abdomen and sometime cramps. My glands ar swollen and I have pain in my armpits on and off(wierd). My breast are very sore off and on. I am so excited because I feel this is it! I will repost once I test. I'm praying and thinking positive.

hunni - Thanks so much!! I actually have already had my little girl. She just turned three months old. I cannot believe shes already that old!!!! I was actually still in college at the time and not working, but I missed a lot of school while sick. I had the morning..afternoon..evening sick as well as tons of doc appts so I was out a lot. Just try to remember that it cant last forever..Its hard to do when youve been sitting on the bathroom floor for three hours lol but thats the only thought that got me through it. And you get to look forward to the rest of pregnancy!! Months 4-8 were fantastic!!!!!!!

mommyin2010 - I will keep you in my thoughts!! Best of luck to you!!
