Oh girls, I am so sorry to disappoint you.
 I am not in labor. Had an OB appointment today. He did an u/s to check my fluid levels (to make sure placenta was still working well and baby is doing plenty of peeing)! I needed to be at least a 5 and I was at a 12+. This baby is just very happy and healthy in there!! OB could not believe I had not gone into labor yet. We set our induction day for Monday the 14th. I will be 42 weeks and at that point I feel like I have given him as long as I can. The risks to baby do go up a bit after 42 weeks and while baby and I are are doing great and there would probably be no issues, I'm not going to risk it. I am still holding out hope that he decided to come over the weekend.

Pssssttt...Amy's baby...yes I am talking to you little guy. Come out TOMORROW, Sept. 13th, on MY birthday.

And the drama continues....
So, I go into L&D this morning (Saturday) for my scheduled NST. All looks great with baby and the nurse asks me if I want her to check me again. I could tell she was up to something and probably intended to strip my membranes (at this point I'm thinking BRING IT ON)! Once she knew I was a natural birthing patient I think she wanted to help me avoid an induction. Sooooo, she checks me, says I am at at least a 4, close to 5 cm. (WTH? Come out already baby)!! So she says she is going to strip me and try to stir things up. She instructs me to go home and eat a light meal, tells us she is on duty until 7, gives us her name and says come back in when the contractions pick up. Very sweet of her to do her part to get Gabriel here!  Anyway nothing yet except MORE blood show and cramping. I can't say I am having any more contractions than I was having before but.....  it's worth a shot! Pray, pray, pray!!
