    37 w 5 d check-up for Flea

    Hi girls!
So excited to see all these July babies. I am thinking of all of you!

Today's appointment was uneventful as usual...everything is great!
    BP - good
    Weight gain - good
    Heartrate - good
    Head still down - good
Fundus...hey! he forgot to measure! But he did say that the baby did not seem too small and also did not seem too big.

He decided to wait until next week to check my cervix. That's fine with me, since all that info makes you think too much so I'd rather not know.

Looks like I'm one week closer to acheiving my goal...

PS...In honor of Sarah's swelling, I have managed to get one cankle yesterday that will not go away. Doc said our uterus usually tilts to one side which is why only my right is swollen.

Frodo called...he wants his foot back!!!

Feeling good...but very tired from this heat! Yesterday my Mom came and we shopped for HOURS! I swear the woman doesn't even realize that she'll be 70! She still teaches 9 high level tap classes a week...which doesn't include singing with the Sweet Adeline's, private vocal lessons, volunteering at the children's hospital, and so on, and so on! She left today to SC for a choreography convention!

PS again...I was negative for Group B Strep...another hurdle - yay!

    Flea,
You are so calm, cool and collected...and SO CLOSE to your due date Here I am, wanting to (but probably not going to) deliver any second, not even 36 weeks and I see you're going on 38 and you're still shopping til you drop. You're my hero!
Great report. I hope you get good, ripe cervix news next week

Great news! Way back when we all got started I thought that you and I would deliver around the same time. I'm so glad that Laney is staying put and you are doing so well.

If you think you've got a Frodo foot now, just wait until after you deliver. My feet and legs are just staring to resemble human limbs again rather than tree trunks.

Glad that your strep test was negative. I had to do the antibiotics because my results weren't back yet and they really burned in the IV...and my test came back negative after all.

Great update Flea! Keep it up! Wow, your mom sounds like my dh's mom. She never stops, always doing something. I think they would get sick if they had to be on bed rest right now!LOL! Keep on cooking....

Such a nice update, Flea girl!

I am thinking you will reach August. And I will go check on Laney's room's pictures next
Can you go swimming, someplace? I am finding that helps my swellings a LOT.
And, if you do end up moving, will you be closer to New Brunswick again?

    Hey Tanja!
No where to swim...but I'll be moving to the same town as my sister and she has a brand new beautiful in-ground pool! So I guess I'll deall with the club foot for now!

When I move, I'll be about the same distance from you...minus the NYC traffic! I would love to visit you once these babies get adjusted!

    Hope you're feeling GREAT!
