I Love My HUAM

I have my monitor all set up now from the awesome nurse from Matria. I love it. I can just put it on and make sure I am not having contractions any time I want, plus I have to monitor twice a day. If I have more than 6 in an hour then we figure out what to do from there (like drink water, take a med or go to the hospital). So awesome. Plus she gave me a blood pressure monitor to keep, she checked my urine, listened to the babies, and checked my temp. I love it! I say if any of you start getting frequent contractions then ask your doc about getting an at home monitor, its soooo much nicer than freaking out and spending unneeded time in L&D, or not going when you really should have.

Tam Tam you are soooo adorable!!
I can just picture you and the trio laying there and monitoring! Wow, I would love a machine like that!! I wonder if BabyBeats will start renting them!! LOL!!
Soon we'll have all the equipment we need and we won't ever have to go to the doctor again!! Even a delivery machine!! Maybe that's the wave of the future!! LOL

That is GREAT! Just one more thing to keep you with a little more peace of mind...
I have heard of those before.. I wonder if my Peri has one?
Even if she does, she won't let me have one unless she thinks I need it-(she is sooo conservative...).

oh tammie, i'm so glad to hear that you got your monitor at home! that is going to make your life and your stress level so much better! you won't have to be freaking out wondering "was that a contraction?!?". if i had that thing, i'd prob wear it 24/7!
glad you've got some peace of mind, especially for during the move. i know that's going to be just a wee bit stressful for ya!

that sounds brilliant, great for your sanity and piece of mind, and hey it gives you something to do twice a day, that must take up some time LOL.

I am so glad they have you using the HUAM. I have read a lot about them and I think it will really help get those babies as close to term as possible!
