almost no u/s tomorrow!

came home to my machine blinking we had a message....it said: "we have to reschedule your u/s and ob appt til march 28th. please give us a call back"

NO WAY!
my aunt kathy works in my md office, and my cousin's best friend is the office manager....so i have some inside connections. we had already arranged for the best u/s person to do my u/s tomorrow. but, of course, a scheduling glitch was there, and they thought i was with the other person (who just started working there and doesn't have a great sex-accuracy rate). so, the message was just a mistake.
but i didn't know that....and was i in tizzy!! i called my cousin, who called her mom (which is my aunt who works in the office). she talked to the good u/s tech, who then called me and said that she may be a little late with the appt, but that she'd do our u/s tomorrow. i told her she could be as late as she wanted, and i didn't care. i just want it done tomorrow!! zoinks! what a mess. but she's sweet to stick around and do my u/s (she was supposed to only work a 1/2 day)....she said she was sitting right there with my aunt and didn't want to have the whole family mad at her forever, so she'd see us tomorrow! whew!!
i would have had an absolute temper tantrum if the appt was changed! bobby took the day off, i took a half a day off....we would have totally had to reschedule our lives. yuk. but it looks like i'm a brat and i'll get my way and we're still on for the u/s tomorrow.
thank god for inside connections!!

Hey vent away! I too would have been soooo disappointed if they rescheduled an u/s--that would totally suck--especially cuz you want to know the sex!
I'm glad you got it all worked out and I can't wait to hear the big news tomorrow!

that is hiarious! i had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. what a freakin' riot!!
i ran downstairs and got my cousin and dh to come look at the picture, and they were laughing too. my 3 year old nephew joey came up, and his mom said "do you like auntie sarah's baby? isn't it cute?" and he looks at the picture, and goes...."no baby.....thats cereal!"
