Nuchal blood test results - update

Last friday I had a "bad" ultrasound on Baby B. Today I got results and it came back *normal*!!! I'm so very happy that both babies will have the very best chance of survival and I won't have to consider the decision of an amnio or not (it was one that was already stressing me out).

Sorry I have not been posting much. I have been in self-preservation mode lately. I hope you can understand.

Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. I feel that it really did help!

Jen,

So glad to hear both babies are ok. Good job kiddos!!!
I have been thinking about the amnio as well - we have an appointment with the genetic counsler on Monday but I have pretty much decided against it. My risk factors are pretty small and I wouldn't terminate the pregnancy even if there was a problem. So for now we'll go and listen but leaning towards declining it also.

I completely understand if you weren't posting! Sometimes it gets to be too much and even though everyone is supportive...you still may not want to talk about it!

WELL NOW YOU CAN Congrats! So happy to hear that they're doing well! I'm sure that took a lot of weight off your shoulders!
