    Weekend?

Did everyone have a fun long weekend? What did you do?
We swam in the baby pool, grilled out, had a dinner with the IL's and had to have dance pictures taken. Just kinda took it easy. I've been pretty tired.

Went to my nephew's baseball game Friday.

Not much Saturday. (I have a sinus infection and am feeling drained)

Sunday was my birthday. Low key but wonderful! Dinner at Olive Garden

Yesterday a cook out with one of my hubby's co-workers.

All in all it was a nice weekend!

Kids and I were sick so we didn't hit the shore b/c I didn't want anyone getting our germs. They did have fun in the sprinkler each day. Sunday was nice b/c the kids were feeling better. They were really good and pleasant again My Mom watched the kids so J and I could go to dinner... what a TREAT!!! It has been MONTHS since we have had a "real" date. Yesterday, we had my immediate family over for a BBQ.

DM- how did the dance pics go? We have ours this weekend after their rehearsal.

The dance pics went really well. I can't wait to see them! We have some wardrobe issues, but we made it work for pics and now MIL is going to do some sewing. We have rehearsals this week and our recital is Saturday.

We shopped on Saturday, went to a bbq on Sunday and the beach on Sunday. A fun weekend. I was happy we didn't have anything planned today so we could relax.

DH's school had graduation on Saturday so we had that and then a few parties. We ended up at some friends' on Sat. night--that was fun.

Sunday - DH got up early to go fishing and G and I joined him later in the morning. We hung out with some friends on Sunday night. Drinks on their deck--it was beautiful outside.

Monday - DH went fishing again, G and I just chilled at home, she was a little under the weather--had a low fever and was coughing. We grilled out for supper.
Overall, a very fun weekend with gorgeous weather!

Sounds like a variety of activities and relaxation . . . all sound fun to me!

Our Saturday: wanted to mulch, but with me being sick and dh being tired from handling R's "late-night" calls on Thursday, we opted to do "simple" yardwork while a former neighbor's daughter came to watch R for the first time. Disaster. R ended up down for his nap by 10:00 AM. No joke. Sigh. Anyway, he woke at 11:30, no nap in the PM, so we went shopping and then off for our ride on Thomas. R was happy, had a ball, and fell asleep on my lap while we waited for dinner to come at the restaurant we went to. Got home with him--he had a 100+ fever (in his armpit) after being in a/c for two+ hours. So Children's Advil and off to bed.

Sunday: Skipped church so both R and I could lay low/rest. Held a cookout in the late afternoon/early evening. Everyone was in bed by 10:30.

Monday: Stayed home. Did a ton of work--the last weekend I will do that for a while! (at least, that kind of work ) We all went to bed early again. I was up at 4:10 this morning--I must be on the mend!

Bet you're all jealous of the sick kid/froggy voice thing! NOT!

We had an uneventful weekend as my hubby worked so the girls and I played outside a lot. Today we took them into Boston for the afternoon to play. We saw the Wheelie Boats as the girls put it (Duck Tour Boats)

Hopefully this week is better than last week

We had a nice weekend despite all three of mine having very high temps for over a week now. G just started her day with a nice puke on my bed.

Saturday we had a yard sale. Made a little money but more importantly, cleaned out my entire basement! So excited! I have now convinced DH to build a guestroom down there for my mom and other guests. That will be our next construction project! J was in bed most of the day with a 103 fever.

Sunday we had a cookout. Lots of laughs. G ended it with a 103 temp.

Monday we hung out. Our neighbors ended up having a cookout so we went over there later in the day. G was feeling better so went swimming and ran around with the kids. Came to me wanting to go home. Had a 104 temp.

Sounds like lots of sickies with everyone. Hope you are all doing better!

We had a fun weekend! We were go, go, going the whole weekend! DH & I went out Friday night for our 10th anniversary...great Italian food and wine that night. Then we had DH's family cookout on Sat, drunkfest with the friends and kids all there too on Sunday and My family's cookout on Monday.

Oh man...drunkfest on Sunday was so fun. We started around 3 pm and didn't leave till after midnight. Can you believe that Kirsten and most of the kids stayed up that late? Rowan pasted out around 11ish in the house. They had an inflatable water slide for the kids and lots of toys and playing while us adults ate and drank and drank.....I slowed down around 10:30 so one of us could safely drive home...but a great time was had by all...even the kiddos. We had five couples and between those adults we had 15 kids ranging from 6 months to 8 years!
