Oh man M! That does stink! Can you do it at night once DH is home or is that too late? I know nap time is precious as well...but I have had to use nap time as a work out time once in a while. UGH!

I am so tired at night! I can work out a little but it's no where near the energy level I need. Brooke, you don't really think I can get these two to nap at the same time do you? Every once in ahwile I get about 30 minutes of overlap, but that's it. L is startig to drop the second nap too. Sometimes I can work out while L is napping and let M watch TV, so that may be what I have to do. That doesn't really feel like me time though. Somehow, running on the treadmill to Max and Ruby and listening for L isn't quite the same.

HAHAHAH....I know, you am I kidding? I had a hard enough time getting mine to nap at the same time when they were younger. I will admit...I did put some toons on for the kids a couple of times when I was desperate for the workout..but I didn't have a younger one to listen for. Sorry......I was trying to come up with something for you!

thanks Brooke I just got home from the grocery store and almost starting crying because they were out of Sunbutter. Then M wouldn't stop hitting L with a funnoodle, so I was like a crazy person and opened the front door and whipped on the front yard!!! I just realized I am PMS'ing, so ignore my pity party.

Oh M, that stinks! I know how much better you feel when you are working out. Does your gym have drop in child care? Maybe you could work out while M is in school and put L in the drop in? Just a thought--tryin' to help you out.

Thanks M2M, That was the original plan but L naps at 9am, so the second I walk in from dropping her off, he goes down. The days she's at school are ok, I do get my workout in, or at least some workout. I'll figure it out, I was just having a temper tantrum.
Dh didn't have to leave today until 6:30, so I just walked in from the Gym. It was the best run I have ever had!! I was able to add 5 minutes to my time, but the best part was I felt strong the whole time. D, I'm going to follow the training plan you sent me. I think I've been running too much and not giving myself enough days in between, so I haven't been able to ever improve. I'm feeling stronger this way, so thank you again. I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew. I do this is many aspects of my life. I am 100% full force, or nothing and it usually leads to a crash and burn, Gotta work on that.

M- very cool about your strong run!!! I am sure your confidence is pumped up and you are raring to go. Glad you are going to stick to the program b/c it'll allow you a greater chance of running your 15K healthy.
Yesterday, I had a massage and the girl worked out my shins smoothly. I felt better up until last night but this morning I am feeling tinges of pain in both shins. I will be icing them today but I think my 5 mile run will be canceled since I only have access to the treadmill in my Mom's basement. If I could get to the gym, I would use the elliptical but that won't be happenening with this flipping snow/ice.
A- WTG on the 3 lbs!!! Makes all your hard work worth it

M...that is what I loved about Whip's plans...after doing it last year, I loved how it slowly works you up to where you need to be. I have a niece and three sis in laws following it this year (along with me again). At first you wonder how it will really have you ready because it isn't very long and doesn't burn very many calories...but pretty soon you are running more than ever before (if you are like me ). Good luck!

Rest day for me but Dh decided to go to the Gym today with one of my guest passes. Thinks he's all great. his workout has nothing to do with me and my personal goals.
Anyway, I had a GNO last night and did good and made good food choices, although I did have to send my dinner back twice! Sure they loved me. The day after the GNO is the tricky part. The body wants pizza.
