My kids are broken

Some recent things these small ones have said:

Liam has a habit of saying butt after everything and calling people butts etc. So one morning I said "We aren't going to talk about butts anymore" and went about my business. I went in his room to get his clothes for the day and called for him to come to me. From the kitchen I hear a small voice say "I'm not talking about them! I'm SINGING about them!"

Liam strapped on his fake guitar the other day, stood in front of us and said "I feel a song coming on!"

He hit me and I said "We don't hit" and he said "That wasn't hitting, it was punching!". So I guess punching is ok?

Today the girl says "Mama, my finger is in my butt!".....great.

LOL...I am so loving this age! It makes all the sleepless nights and yukky stuff worth it!

Adding one: Today at the library Laini gave me a big hug and buried her face in my shoulder. I was thinking wow that's nice a hug out of nowhere. She stood up and said "I just wiped my boogers on you!" and took off to play with the bead mazes.

What's up with that? Kirsten did the same thing the other day. She buried her face in me and then took off running....I said, why are you taking off? She just busted up laughing and then I found it on my shirt! UGH!

It doesn't end....she is still rolling with the comments, we have the best time when she is in that mood and the things she says/thinks... LMAO
