I'm still tossing it around. It's hard. You know I don't really like it here, but you get comfortable. I'm moving slowly I guess.
I leave soon though (rough 3 hour day) the babies have their 18 month appointment today. Dumb me scheduled it at lunch/nap time, so guess who gets to eat mcdonald's in the waiting room?! haha I hope that keeps them from getting too crabby!

girl, can i just say that if you are really unhappy there...if it's effecting your happiness/stress level at home...LEAVE. I know it's hard to get out of your comfort zone. I had a similar problem with my job. Golden handcuffs I called 'em. I HATED it there and it stressed me so bad, but the money and benefits were SOOOO nice that I hated to leave.
My pg disability forced the issue and now I'm a different person. I'm so glad I got outta there.
Please don't let the comfort zone keep you there. Life is too short.

Yes until March. He has another quota to meet then. But I think he'll be fine...it's not as big of a deal as the one from December.

I always think of questions that I want to ask when I am away from the computer but once again, I am drawing a blank
J LOVES school. He did cry today when I was leaving
so I sat in a chair for a while and let him play around me. G stayed in his room with him and I eventually left. It was the first day he cried. He has a blast with all that exploring. There is nothing there that he can't touch which is a dream to him! I am hoping that today was a fluke and he doesn't start crying all of a sudden when I leave. It is such a sad feeling for mommy when they cry!

Yeah, I had a job as well that I hated and it made me and DH both miserable! Finally, DH said...it is not worth the money and benefits that you are making....and that is when I found the YMCA job, went part time and worked on my IF issues.
By the way...does anyone play bunco.....wasn't that you DM? I was just invited to a Bunco party on Thursday night......not sure if I will go or not....I have never played!

I use to play bunco in my neighborhood about 8 yrs ago. I never won, but had a great time!
I am feeling much better...knock on wood, but I am not sure why I have been sick twice and they have not turned into sinus infections...that is my usual course, but I am not complaining.
L has dance today, and I am going to go w/ her and sit in there and watch. I am just hoping that doesn't make it worse. Keep your fingers crossed.
Question? Anybody else nervous about the stock market today?
Did you realize that yesterday was supposedly the most depressing day of the year? how did everybody do?

01-22-2008, 09:42 AM #9Not too nervous about the stock market, it can look bad right away, but if you are in it for the long haul, it'll bounce back. We've seen it with our mutual funds a few years ago.
