messy house!

Is anyone else having a problem getting stuff done? I just feel so overwhelmed sometimes and my house suffers. I just can't seem to get on top of it. Michael screams if I walk out of the room, and sometimes even just for turning my back. So needy! And with the stranger anxiety he has now there is only one grandparent he will go to if I need a break. DH doesn't complain but he doesn't help much either. He can't handle the kids for more than about an hour, and if I am home its not 15 min before he is calling me in to do something for the baby. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Yep, same here. The older kids help out as much as they can but the deep cleaning, mopping floors, cleaning toilets, etc.... they can't do that and of course, I like it done a certain way. DH only helps when he's not working and that isn't enough either. I think the extra baby stuff around the house also makes it look messy. I know when I go back to work that I will have to try and find a maid/cleaning lady for a couple of days a week because I just will not have the time for anything.

my oldest son is 7 and he cleans his own bathroom...I refuse! I figure if he has to clean it himself maybe he will stop peeing all over the floor! We supervise of course and give him the supplies. Most of his chores involve helping clean, we just have to be at peace with the fact that it is not done perfectly or the exact way we would do it. Its a trade off.

My house completely overwhelms me! I haven't been able to find a good recommended housekeeper, either, so until that happens, I just do what I can and complain about the rest. With 3 ages 5 and under, there is always a mess everywhere. I clean one room and they are trashing the next. It is a vicious cycle. DH is another one to clean up after. I am way out numbered!

We got a maid about a year ago, several months before JT was born cause I couldn't keep up with even one child. I am so glad that we did it, its not cheap but its the best money we spend, by far. And my husband is the cleaner one so he was always complaining, it doesn't bother me a bit. Anyway, helped us not fight and now that JT is crawling I know the floor is clean

I guess i am very lucky, cause my husband does most of the cleaning! I do laundry & dishes during the day, and my husband does all the heavy duty cleaning. Guess it helps that he's "neat freak"!
