I have no idea how to turn them off, but they can serve as night lights now too.

Had that happen after washing ds's. Eventually they dried out and started working again but I don't remember how long it took.

You put them in the washing machine? I always thought you couldn't because of the lights...hmmmm

Yes we had that problem with light up sandles. It was after they were worn in the pool and they were soaking wet. It took a few days for them to dry out and stop lighting up. The bad part for us was they played a muscial sound as well so they were non-stop noise and light. We had to cover up the sound piece with approx 20 pcs of duct tape to get it to stop driving us batty.

Not that problem, but similar -- one of Cameron's Elmo sneakers won't go on anymore. Theya re only 3 months old! No wories though, Carter must not have liked his, since he threw one of them in the trash after only wearing them a few times! I think I'll stick to plain non-light-up ones for now.

Find it early. Know the signs. Ask for a neck check the next time you see your doctor.
