What criteria do you use in listing here vs. ebay?

I have a lot of the girls' clothing to sort through and get listed, but not sure if it is right for this board or not ~ I usually do ebay, but some of this stuff is not right for ebay either ~ I am leaning more toward taking things to a local consignment shop, but thought I would ask anyway! Those of you who *do* ebay, what kind of things would you list here that you may not on ebay, or vice versa?

I have a lot of spring/summer girl stuff, cute and clean, but most of it isn't name-brand type stuff. I haven't been able to sell that type of clothing on ebay lately unless it is namebrand, and wondering if it would also not sell here.

I have been offering things here first, and then whatever isn't claimed goes to ebay.

Sometimes my prices here might seem high, but if I KNOW I can get substantially more on ebay, I still offer it here, but at a higher then usual (for this board) price.

I figure if it is worth it to someone here, they will claim it, and if not, no loss to me

I'd give it a shot here first before taking it to the consignment store (what is that anyway ??? ) !!! Of course, you may have to throw in some pictures of your beautiful girls modelling the clothes for us !

Lots of the ladies here are bringing in some big bucks lately, there is plenty of willingness to hand that money out (NOT me though of course LOL) !!

Mom2jordan ~ I've got all sizes from newborn to a little bit of 2T but mostly stopping at the 18-24 mo mark, since my girls are 2 1/2 and still fit into some of their 2T stuff.

I usually try here to get rid of it fast and at a cheaper rate but some things no one wants and in which I will go and sell on Ebay, sometimes. I had some patent leather LN shoes here and no one wated them for lik $3.50 and $4.50 and sold each pair on Ebay for around $12.99 each. I listed some little tommy bathing suits that I had listed here for $2.50 each and no one wanted them and sold them together on Ebay for $16.00!! I really try to let someone have it here for cheaper cause I love to see our very one in Kaitlin's things!

Usually, I will offer things here first. I will look up what similar things have sold for on eBay and price accordingly. I usually take into account that here I am not paying as many fees, just paypal. There are a few things that I am saving for eBay during the right season, because I know they will do awesome.

I'd love to see what you have, although I think my Emma is too close to the same size as your girls.
