How far along? 34 weeks today! Less than 5 weeks left for me, woo hoo!!!!!!!

Weight gain: 16 pounds

Cravings / aversions? I wanted a Slim fast shake sooo bad the other day, but I didn't drink it for fear of some diet thing being in it that isn't good for baby.

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? We're having a girl

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet? Everything is bought, and almost all is set-up. Still have the car seat to put in the car and the bassinet to set-up.

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby?
Nope, bassinet is still in storage

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? Yes, I still have some questions regarding making bfing work for me this time around. I'd love to do it but have nipple and supply issues that I'm not sure we'll be able to get past.

What have you learned from this pregnancy? That past pregnancies aren't always an indication of what your next one will be like. This one has been copletely different from my others. My health has actually been better through this pregnancy than it was before I got preg!

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this) We're already raising 3 kids, so yep.

Appts: NST today, another one Friday. U/S and doc next Monday.

Other: I just can't believe how close we're all getting, and that some have already given birth! I'm really in freak out mode now since I have less tan 5 weeks left, this starts the month countdown. It will be gone in the blink of an eye!

How far along? 34w3d

Weight gain: +25lbs

Cravings / aversions? Nope

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? Girl

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet? We have a couple last little things to get, and one big thing being the double stroller, but for the most part we have everything.

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby? No! DH finished painting and now needs to put up the chair rail. Then we'll start to move stuff in.

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? I don't think so

What have you learned from this pregnancy? That I still hate being pregnant Hated it last time, hated it this time!

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this) Same as we have done with our DD

Appts: Regular appt next Thursday 3/20

Other: Getting so uncomfortable now and the swelling has started. I had AWFUL swelling last time. And I am SO sick of going pee every 10 minutes!

How far along? 33w5d

Weight gain: Up 15

Cravings / aversions? Chips n dip, pineapple orange juice.

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? Boy

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet? Everything except diapers, I am waiting to see how big (or small!) he is.

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby? The nursery is set up but we need to get the mini co- sleeper all cleaned up and the sheets washed.

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? Well, I have a two year old DD so most of it falls under "been there, done that". However, this one is a boy so I know there will be boy issues I will need help/ advice on like caring for a circumcized penis, changing boy daipers (as in avoiding the spray LOL), etc.

What have you learned from this pregnancy? That pregnancies get harder the older I get and this is it for me.

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this) We differ in our parenting styles and use a blend of theories.

Appts: NST and OB appt tomorrow.

Other: I can't believe that I only have two weeks and two days left to be pregnant (scheduled c- section). I am excited yet sad at the same time. Also, DH just got laid off of his job and his last day of work is the day after the baby is born. He hasn't had any luck getting another job so I am very stressed and worried

How far along? 34weeks 3days

Weight gain: + 25 lbs

Cravings / aversions? still craving sweets

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? Girl!

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet? Only need a glider - can't decide on one.

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby? All ready! (minus the glider)

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? probably will have lots once she is here but none now.

What have you learned from this pregnancy? This is my first & last pregnancy (next will be adopted) and I have learned that pregnancy is truly a miracle.

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this). We will have to see since this is my first, but typically agree when we watch "Super Nanny" or "Wife Swap" - LOL.

Appts: OB Thurs.

Other: Can't believe I have 26 days to go! It seems so far away still...I want my baby girl here now. I know it's best for her to stay put for a while longer, though, so I will be patient.

How far along? 34 weeks today!

Weight gain: Oh yes, about 33 lbs.

Cravings / aversions? Sweets! And oranges.

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? It's a girl!!

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet?
We just had 2 baby showers this past weekend and we got so much stuff! The only thing left is the crib mattress and the 2nd base for the car seat. Everything is set up, going to start washing all her clothes today! It feels like there is still so much to do! And, it is amazing how much one tiny human can accumulate!

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby?
Almost, our dresser/changing table is on back order until March 21st! So, once that is here it will be totally done.

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? Oh, there are MANY! I am stressed right now about how to wash her clothes!!!

What have you learned from this pregnancy?
That it is a miracle, but sometimes not a fun process. I have learned that I am a worry wart! I used to be so laid back, but not during pregnancy! There really is a lot to worry about, and I am still worrying!

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this)
I think so, we have a lot of friends that have kids, so we take a lot from what we like/don't like that they do.

Appts: Just a check up on Monday. Go again in 2 more weeks then I go weekly!

Other: I am just really ready for her to be here! I know she needs to stay in there and cook a little more, but I am very anxious and cringe when I think I have 6 more weeks!

How far along? 34 weeks on Monday

Weight gain: 25lbs

Cravings / aversions? Still loving strawberries

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? It's a boy

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet? Nope. I am still nervous to buy too much for fear that something will happen. I think it is all those years of IF that make me feel this way.

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby? Nope. Getting the Bassinet this weekend.

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? How much help do you really need the first couple of weeks???

What have you learned from this pregnancy? It is much more than I ever thought. The emotions of feeling your baby kick for the first time. Incredible.

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this) Not really but I don't think we are far off from one another.

Appts: I am going twice a week already. Friday I am doing non-stress test. Then another appt with the Peri.

How far along? Tomorrow, 37 weeks

Weight gain: 22 lbs since beginning of pregnancy

Cravings / aversions? Mostly things that are cold because of coughing and sore throat. Waiting for all the symptoms of bronchitis I started having 2 weeks ago to go away.

Are you having a boy or girl, or waiting for a surprise? GIRL!!!

Do you have everything bought for baby, even if it's not set-up yet? Most of the things I have are from previous daughter. Going to wait until baby is born to see if we need anything else.

Is the nursery (or bassinet in your room) all ready for baby? We already have a crib. Just need to get a bassinet so we have something to move easily around the house. Need a few things here and there that we are not really worried about getting at the moment. Baby shower is going to be 3 weeks after birth of baby.

Do you have any questions at all that haven't been answered yet, not by doctor but more practical things from other moms? Can't think of any. I'm just hoping to take my baby home within the first week of her being born.

What have you learned from this pregnancy? I've learned that every pregnancy is not the same. I don't know if I would have become pregnant again if I had known about the things I had gone through with this pregnancy. Especially getting sick 4 times. BLAH!!!

Have you and your spouse decided on a parenting theory or style to go with? (if not, now's the time to discuss this) We are going with the same up bringing as what we did with our daughter.

Appts: 03/12/2008 Fetal assessment at hospital and ob appointment; 03/19/2008 Fetal assessment at hospital and ob appointment

Other: I had a fetal assessment at the hospital at 37 weeks when I was pregnant with my dd. She was born that same night by emergency c-section. Stayed in the NICU for 28 days.

Well, today was the day before the 37th week of this pregnancy. I was extremely nervous about going to the appointment for my fetal assessment. I really didn't want what happened to my dd to repeat again. I let out a HUGE sigh of relief when the NP/US tech told me that everything looked really good. I told her about my experience with my dd and was not looking forward to today. I told her that I believed that my ob is extremely determined to get this baby to full term.

I had actually hoped that my ob would have called me back and told me to cancel this appointment as well as future appointments with the fetal assessment center.

I went to my ob appointment and he recommended to keep the remainder of my appointments with the fetal assessment center. Ending of a good day and relieved that my baby is still in my tum tum.
