Pardon the board barge, ladies, but i wanted to drop you a line and give you a Rosa report.
Our dear friend is doing better this week, and the brown bleeding has dropped back. Best of all, the thing that has Rosa in the best spirits is that the nasty old bedpan has been deep-sixed in favor of the slightly less nasty bedside commode.
Dr. Tabsh seems to feel that the bleeding was old blood working its way out from the cerclage, and: cross your fingers
: he says he will likely release her if she can make the next three weeks (to 36 weeks) without incident. The plan would be then to send her home without bedrest to see if she goes into labor naturally. That way the poor woman can wash her hair and shave her legs to be all pretty for the bedside photo shoot when the little peanut arrives!!
As always, Rosa was in fine sweet spirits when i spoke with her tonight, but she can only be online a little bit at a time. Because of her bedrest, she can use the one arm, which makes it really hard to type anything. However, i know she appreciates hearing from her friends, so if anyone would like her email address, feel free to PM or post to me and I will forward it.
Take care, love, Dana
