Hi Ladies...

I hope that all is going well for you all. I have just had a very busy summer being home with Chance, and we have had quite a few hurdles the past few months.

Overall we are doing well. Chance is in PT several days a week, and I am also going to try to correct the Carpal Tunnel in both hands in hopes that I will not have to have surgery. They wanted me to do both hands this summer, but there was no way. We are still doing socialskills therapy and play therapy. They have started him on new meds to helpcontrol all of the seizures. He was having hundreds of small ones a day...we just thought that he was spaced out. It is so hard when they do not talk and tell you what is wrong.

My DH's Grandma had a triple bypass, and on Father's Day my Mom had a stroke.

DH got laid off, so we are trying to make it on one income.

Not too much else, besides potty training again. He gets to where he will go all day in the potty and then regresses and refuses. It is maddening!

We swim most of the day every day in the pool. I need to post some pics.

Each day as I watch you struggle I am reminded to find joy in the little things, to stop and smell the flowers, and that some things are more important than material things. Your smile melts my heart, and takes the chronic pain away, if only for a fleeting moment. Thank you for the joy that you bring, my son.

UGH, I have carpal tunnel as well. I've never seen a Dr. about it but I know I need surgery. It's so painful! I hate going to the Dr. though so I keep living with it.

So do you guys have your own pool? I would LOVE a pool, it would be something fun to do with the kids and good exercise too!

You've been busy!!

WOW..you sure have had a lot going on...it's crazy when you have a full plate and stressful situations also.
I could talk to you about the potty training..Shelby will do so good and then back to accident after accident...it's frustrating.
I would love to see updated pictures of Chance.

Hi!!!
I have been MIA, too. Started back to work on June 29th and boy has my world been rocked...LOL! Was gone to MN for 2 weeks for training....so hard to leave my girls but they survived with Daddy! Sylvia, I am so sorry about the Carpal Tunnel and everything else going on. I hope your DH finds a job soon!

I feel better after reading here about potty training....I cannot get Avery "poop" trained and she still has some tee-tee accidents, too. Totally insane, I thought girls were easier!

Chance wears underwear all day with no accidents but still has only pooped in thepotty twice...he does not WANT to.

It seemslike our life gets crazier by the week. My Dad and Stepmom moved in last week here...Dad got laid off about 8 months ago and they have lost everything. We could not put them out on the street, but it is not good here...they are not so bad except that my Dad whines constantly about being a "bother" even thought we have sone everything in out power to accommodate them and THEIR THREE DOGS. I am a nervous wreck all of the time so bad that I had to get a script of something to take for days when it is just too much. I start work again one week from today.

Rebekah, yes we have a pool...we have not been able to swim in weeks though due to the rain and helping my Dad move in...we have no room to put OUR things because she moved so many things here. It is so frustrating. My hands are getting better with the therapy, but they so bad that I could rarely ever sleep because of the pain.

Nothing else exciting here. We are SUPPOSED to take Chance to the zoo or the aquarium next week before I go back to work.
