We tried sweet peas for dinner tonight. Both boys couldn't stand them! Guess it'll be a while before we try those again. Although they did seem pasty...maybe the texture was a little too much for them. I didn't bother trying to thin it out, just ditched the container. Oh well.

I have had ZERO success with an early bedtime. B really doesn't like to go to bed before 8:30. If I try any earlier, he catnaps for 30-40 minutes then wakes up ready to play. But if I wait until 8:30 to put him down he sleeps much longer (for him). I don't know what the books would say about this, but we've been doing decent length naps in morning and afternoon (1.25 - 2.25 hrs), then one catnap around 5:00 for 30-40 minutes (this is what he does himself -- I don't wake him), then he wants to stay up with us until 8:30 or sometimes even 9:00. My mom says that's how we always were, and my sister's kids are the same, too. I can't even imagine a 6:30 bedtime when some days I don't get home until 6:00. That just seems ridiculous and excessive to me. The good thing about B's late bedtime is that I can often get him to sleep until 8:30 or 9 AM. That makes mommy VERY happy.

6-6:30 seems early to me but Evan goes down by 7:00-7:30. He's now sleeping 10-11 hours straight so he'll wake up around 5:30-6:30. If he wakes around 5:30, he usually goes back down after a bottle until 7:30 or so.
Yesterday, his last nap in daycare ended at 2:30 so I knew I need to put him down for a brief catnap around 5 or he would never make it to 7:30. He really is the type of baby that needs to go down every 2-3 hours tops. For some reason he wouldn go down till 6:15. Napped till 6:45. Had cereal and a bottle and was back asleep by 7:45. Luckily I can pick him up by 4;30/4:45 on the days in the office and by 3:30/4:00 when I'm home.

Hope everyone has great weekend. We have my sister's wedding. Thankfully my bridesmaid dress fits. I'm 3lbs below my pre-preggo weight and am fitting into clothes that I haven't fit into since I started IVF. This is definitely proof that those drugs do a number on your body (if you go through it enough). So nice to be hormone free for awhile.
Oh and I forgot to say...I go AF. I know it's weird, but I am PSYCHED. I have not got AF on my own in 11 years...7 years on bcp, 3 years after while trying to TTC and going through IF and then while pg.
