Question Royal Jelly

I'm getting ready for my upcomming IUI in June and have been trying to find ways to get my body into "baby mode". I have been religious in taking my prenatals and fish oil everyday for the past 2 months. I used to take wheatgrass shots daily, but I accidently broke my wheatgrass machine. After doing some research, I have found that royal jelly could be very beneficial for women experiencing infertility. Has anyone taken royal jelly? Did it help you and what changes did you experience? I'm also planning on taking it in conjunction with my prenatals, fish oil, and wheatgrass pills...its starting to look l'm a pill popper here! lol Anyways, any advice or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Lisa Marie

For my 4th IVF cycle I started taking wheatgrass, fish oil, vitamin D, and added royal jelly. I am not sure what or if any of these did the trick but on the same protocol my embryos went from poor/okay/a couple of good to all so "Beautiful" it was hard to choose what ones to transfer. I would do it all over again. Good luck!

I’m trying to remember where I read this, it could have been The Infertility Cure but I read that vitamin D is important to follicular development. There have been studies that found that vitamin D helps women who have ovulation problems.

I did read in the book that royal jelly is the food produced by bees which turns a bee into a queen bee making her able to produce thousands of egg. It is rich in amino acids, vitamins, and enzymes and is believed (by the author of the book) to improve the quality of eggs and reproductive function.

I just wanted to thank you for your input! I just want to have my body prepared as much as possible for my upcomming IUI in June. I also bought the Infertility Cure and I absolutely love that book!! All I need to do now is cut out the lattes...I'm having a major issue with that!

I'm just glad that we'll be leaving Washington State soon...there's litterally a Starbucks on just about every street corner! The temptation is unbelievable! lol On my way home from work I stopped by my local nutrition store and bought some royal jelly and wheatgrass pills. Did you do the royal jelly pills, or did you buy the royal jelly in honey? I attached a picture below of the royal jelly that I bought...it cost $23.99!!! What do you think??

I got the pills. It was close to $30.

The jar is really not that big lol! I never tried the honey. How is it?

There is a Starbuck on every corner here too. They're everywhere!

Virginia huh? I visited there about 18 years ago. It was hot!

I just tried the royal jelly honey this morning...and it wasn't too bad. Its 100% organic, so it doesn't taste like the honey that you would buy at the store.

We're so excited about getting back to the east coast! DH's family is from Virginia, so they'll be about 3 hours away...which is nice. We'll be about 15 minutes from Richmond, so I'll actually get a chance to shop. (Thats my other addiction!! ) Hopefully DH can stay a Ft. Lee for awhile...I really don't know if I could do another duty assignment out this way!!
