Chiropractic Care

Have anyone had any success with chiropractic care and IF success?

I just started to see a new chiropractor and he said that he has had success in all of the patients that he has seen with IF issues...just wondered if anyone had the same success

Angie

Hi Angie.

Welcome to our board!

I saw a chiropractor, but she was also an acupuncturist, so while we did do some chiro adjustments, we mostly did acupuncture.

Does he just do adjustments, or does he recommend supplements too?

Please keep us posted on your progress. I hope you are soon yet another of his successes!

I do know someone who was having fertility problems and she felt that her chiropractor was the reason she was able to conceive. I wish I knew more about her specific case, or about what the chiropractor did, so I could tell you, but unfortunately I don't.

I started seeing a chiropractor last March. It wasn't related to fertility - actually I had fallen down our staircase and someone suggested that I see a chiropractor just in case I had caused some damage. The chiropractor asked me if I grind my teeth in my sleep, and I was pretty surprised and answered yes. He told me that alot of my problems were related to my jaw. Before going to see him I took advil or tylenol on a regular basis, and I hated it. I felt that it couldn't possibly be helping our chances of conceiving, and probably was hurting our chances. But my headaches were so bad that if I didn't take anything I would end up in tears and unable to sleep. And I didn't know if I did get pregnant how I would make it through 9+ months without advil. I haven't had to take any tylenol or advil since last march (knock on wood!). So I definitely feel that going to a chiropractor was worthwhile.
