Endometritis and Adenomyosis

I have just been diagnosed with endometritis and adenomyosis and endo. I am trying to follow the endo diet. Is there anything that I can do to heal the endometritis and adenomyosis in the mean time. I will be doing a laparatomy in March.

Thanks!

henypeny - while i don't have endo myself, so i can't speak from experience, i've heard of a few things to help.. the diet for one, and also yoga and acupuncture. they can help to open the are and get blood flowing to help heal. TCM (Traditional Chineese Medicine) looks at endo a bit differently than western medicine. You may want to look into the book "The Infertility Cure" by Randine Lewis for more info on acupuncture and how it could help endo.

Thanks, I am trying to follow the diet but not totally 100%. I have been doing acupuncture and occassional herbs. Can you recommend the herbs that are suitable? I have the infertility cure book and have been following the diet closely but still have endo. I had IBS problems about 2-3 years ago and am sure this caused my adenomyosis and endometritis.I was doing yoga but have lost motivation after TTC for more than 3.5 years.

endometritis

endometritis an infection of the endometrial lining requiring treatment with antibiotics. if left untreated may cause scar tissue. but i think this is the easiest of your illnesses to be treated.
