I dont have a solution for nighttime either. Kaelyn is daytime trained and she has woke up dry a COUPLE times but mostly not. We are going to be really dillagent about NOT giving her anything to drink after a certain time and see how that goes.

We have been in the same place for months. Mine is completely day trained and has been for almost a year. But he wakes up wet about 50% of the time. After getting advice from the great ladies here, I am going to continue to go with pull-ups until he is dry for 2 weeks straight.

DS has been day trained since 2 years old and he has been waking up WET every am... like 5 out of 7 days of the week... so he is NOWHERE near ready to wear undies at night. He stays dry during 2 hour naps. And witholding liquids after 7 pm does no good! It will happen when his bladder matures.... And GOSH DARN IT... I don't know WHY he was able to stay dry a WHOLE week in WDW last year? I just can't replicate the late nights and fireworks and rides-LOL!

I would like to know the answer as well!! Olivia is completely day trained but night time is a whole different story. Her diaper is very wet in the mornings all the time!!! I told myself though that I am not going to worry about getting her night trained until she is closer to 4. I am just thrilled she is day trained!!! Good luck Jean.

I agree that i am not pushing Kae either.I figure when she is ready then great. She is completly day trained and that is all i am really worried bout for now. She just turned three and she may not be ready for nighttime training yet. Like I said, we are going to try to not give her so much to drink after a certain time (like7pm) but if she is thirsty what are you to do??

I would wait personally til she starts waking dry. I actually let Riley wear pull ups to bed (I did re-use them if they were 100% dry for sure!) til she asked for panties and was dry for many many nights. I am just no up for bed changing in the middle of the night.

I would be interested in hearing what other people are doing to encourage the kids to wake up dry. Mine are over 4 and both wake up really wet in the morning. My son's diaper gets so heavy it leaks, I seem to be washing more bedding now then ever before AUGH!
We tried with my daughter just sending her to bed in undies, hoping that the wet feeling would encourage her more, nope, just had to do all this laundry every day. We don't give them anything to drink after 7pm, nope, doesn't help. We do wake them up between 10-11pm and have them go on the potty. But they still wake up wet.
They have been day trained forever now (seems like it) and it was no problem. I just don't want to have to buyy diapers for the rest of my life.

We've been training for a year now. Caleb wakes up dry most nights. I think he's only been wet 2-3 times this past year. But I still put him in a Pull Up
Maybe I need to rethink that. I'm just afraid of a fluke thing and I have to change wet sheets at night. I know, I'm insane. He's the kind that will either hold it until he gets up 1st thing in the morning OR he'll get out of bed in the middle of the night and pee on the potty. Usually it's the former though.
Taylor, however, is another story. She's dry most nights, but does wake up wet often. She's NEVER gotten up in the middle of the night to pee. I keep telling her it's ok to get up, go pee on the potty, then go back to bed. That's what Mommy, Daddy & Caleb do. But yet, no 100% luck. So we'll keep working on it. I've "heard" that some kids aren't night trained until age 5-6, depending on the child, and that's normal. So, I'm not rushing anything. I'd rather be safe than sorry. And if we're only using them at night, I'm not worried about the cost.
Good luck!
