Hi Ladies,
First thank you all for your kind words and support last week they meant a great deal to me!!!! Well Symir officially started preschool today at 8:13 am. I took pics of him sleeping this morning right before he woke up, as he was getting dressed, eating his breakfast as we left the house, in the car, in front of the school, etc.... Needless to say I went through 3 rolls of film as my digital is still in PA. I am going to Walmart and get them developed this afternoon and will get the cd so I can post pics (dh has said I may post 1 or 2, I will try to sneak more!).
Symir ran into the classroom this morning and hugged his teachers and jumped right into playing with the other kids. He made it a lot easier for me because I saw the excitement on his face and how much he was enjoying being around the other kids.
BTW Marie, I used your kisses and hugs in the hand idea (thank you so much for sharing that with us!!). I kissed the palms of his hands and then placed them on my heart and told him if he missed me or got sad to put his hands on his cheeks to feel my kisses and to rub his arms to feel my hugs. As I left he put his hands on his cheeks and said "I love you mommy" and then dashed off to play.
You all will be so proud of me, as I have only called once to check on him! The teacher said he was doing great and was enjoying Spanish.
Thanks again for listening, I love you guys!!!!

That is terrific Ray!! I must have missed your last post but it sounds like Symir is loving preschool! I just love the idea of the kisses on the hands and then when you were leaving Symir put his hands on his face and said I love you mommy! Oh that would have had me balling!.. LOL! Very sweet! Good for you mommy!
