Hi Ladies,
I thought this might be the place to post this question as you have been down the same road as myself and my friend with IF. My last chance IUI worked but my question is for my friend who had to stop the IF rollercoaster and move to adoption. She has been matched and is hoping to get her son from Russia w/in the next few months. I would like to get and/or make her a baby album that is appropriate for "her" journey. Most have the "first year" in depth then a few pages (maybe) up to five yrs. old. Well her little guy just turned one in March and she certainly does not want to look at what she missed - she already knows.
Do you or have you heard of any ready made books or should I just make one myself. I have two for mine that are like a notebook. I could take the initial pages out and then add some to it? If so . . . what type of "theme" pages should I add (ie. the day I saw your picture, the day I got on the plane to come meet you, how big you were, the day I first met you, the day the sw first came (not sure on that one), the day I got back on the plane to take you home, our first night together, How we choose your name, etc.) Any guidance to make my friends time/memories more special would be great!
TIA
Tricia

There is actually a baby book for adoption. If you search on the web, you should be able to find it. But making one would also be super sweet, just disregard the early stuff unless your friend will have that information to add to the book. Congrats on your girls and hugs to your friend!

Go to the web site tapestrybooks.com. they have every kind of adoption reference book as well as adoptive baby books. thats where we got ours for our dd (adopted 2006) they're super cute and neat b/c they have all of the "land mark occasions" specific to the adoptive child.
