I am researching adoting from China and although me and my boyfriend have been together for 10 years we are not married yet. I was wondering if I could adopt as a single parent. I am open to specail needs and really dont want to wait until after were married 2 years to get going on this process. Any info would be helpful- thanks![]()

Hmmmm... Good question! I know you can adopt as a single parent in the US and I don't think China has restrictions on that either but I'm not sure. Let us know if you find anything out!

China no longer lets singles adopt, except in the case of certain special needs adoptions, when singles meeting certain strict criteria will be accepted.
