Hi...we are starting the process to adopt domestically and were wondering what attorneys or agencies anyone had worked with Illinois. And any good/bad things about them? Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Attorney in Illinois
Leighton,
Hello, where in Illinois are you. We are in Southern Illinois but very near St Louis, MO. We are in the very beginning stages of adoption, but have been lucky enough to find a great attorney already. She is located in Collinsville. Let me know if this is close enough for you and I will pass along her info.

We are planning to work with Family Choices, too. I'm surprised you haven't talked to the attorney that shares their office in Collinsville, that's who we're using. Her name is Debbie Cobb. I don't have her number on me right now, but I'd be happy to give it to you, if you'd like. I do know that she has a family connection to Family Choices, and acts as their legal council in the event the adoptive parents already have an attorney. At the very least she could put you in touch with someone. Good Luck!!
