I am anxiously awaiting AF to schedule my lap. It will be done the first or second wednesday in June. I can't wait to get started on my IVF journey. I am very scared about what will be found I hope is it just simple scar tissue and both tubes blocked. He can take them if he sees fit..I just want my journey to start.

futuremommie....how simple is the procedure based on what you have heard? Both of my tubes and blocked and they see some damage or scar tissue in the uterus so hopefully I get fixed up all at one time!! Good luck to you. Sounds like you are going before me I will await the news, thanks

Hi Ladies!
I so understand how you feel Special1! I am having surgery on June 7th to remove my Gallbladder due to gallstones and the gyn will go in after him to remove my fibroids. I know my tubes are blocked. So I told him to remove them if they are blocked with fluid because I heard it increases the odds of a successful IVF. He said he could drain the hydros but I think they'll only refill with the fluid. If they aren't working I don't want them. I am so ready to move to IVF!
Good Luck with your Lap!

Special, just wanted to wish you well.
I'll have a potential uterine septum removed next month.

Best of luck to all of you! I just had a lap and hysteroscopy... I had scar tissue all over and I had an intrauterine septum removed... Both procedures were a breeze, and I was out shopping the very next day!!! It was all the hormone pills I had to take afterward that was the hard part! Now I'm just waiting to start ttc once again!!!
Blessings to all!

I have had this surgery as well, a month ago. RE went in to repair one and remove the other, ended up that the one he was going to repair was adhesed to my bowl and he removed them both... The recovery isnt so bad! (whether he removes them or not) just dont overdo it for about 6 weeks following...
Good luck, I hope that they are able to repair as opposed to removing!
