Story time at the library!

It's free and they love it! The librarian reads three stories, within the same theme, then hey do a craft following that theme. In our local libraries you have to sign on so that they have a count for the craft supplies. I signed up for every Tuesday (4 Tuesdays), which is great 'cause they are in school M-W-F. After story time we wonder through the children's library and borrow some books which we read after dinner! They love it!

i also take my two to the library frequently. in fact, we are going in a few minutes! they are in school during most of the story hour times now but i used to take them to 3 different libraries in town. it sounds similar to yours luna with the librarian reading the stories & then doing a craft with the kids. today we will go to return books, they will play in the play area & pick out books & some videos. while they are playing, i get to pick books for myself to read & chat with the librarian. i love that it is FREE! in a few weeks my kids will be starting their art class & their tumbling class. it is offered FREE thru my town's recreation dept. each class is held once per week for about an hour. enjoy the day!
